South India Bird and Wildlife Tour: An Overview

The Andaman Islands are home to several endemic bird species, such as the Andaman Woodpecker, Andaman Crake, and Andaman Cuckooshrike. These birds have evolved unique adaptations to their island habitat and can be found in the Andaman archipelago’s dense forests and mangrove swamps. Similarly, the Western Ghats, a mountain range along the western coast of India, harbours a rich diversity of endemic birds, including the Malabar Grey Hornbill, Nilgiri Flycatcher, and Malabar Parakeet, which can be spotted in the lush rainforests and montane grasslands of the region. Our 15-day Andaman and Western Ghats endemic birding tour are probably the best you can ask for in South India.
