Terms And Conditions
1. Scope of Service Planet Asia Expeditions acts as a tour operator providing birding and wildlife guiding services, transportation, and accommodation. We strive to provide the best possible birding opportunities, but specific wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
2. Itinerary Changes & Flexibility Nature is unpredictable. We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, road closures, government regulations, or bird migration patterns. In the event of a change, we will provide the best possible alternative.
3. Travel Insurance It is a mandatory condition of booking that all clients possess comprehensive travel insurance. This should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, personal accidents, and loss of baggage or equipment.
4. Physical Fitness & Health Our tours often involve trekking in hilly terrain or long drives. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the chosen itinerary. Please inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
5. Force Majeure Planet Asia Expeditions is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by “Acts of God,” including but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, or sudden changes in government permit policies (especially in sensitive areas like the Nicobar Islands or Tiger Reserves).
6. Special Provision: Andaman & Nicobar Ship/Flight As noted in our itineraries, should a ship to Great Nicobar be canceled by the authorities, any additional costs incurred for emergency helicopter/chopper transfers are the sole responsibility of the client.
7. Liability Waiver While we prioritize safety, Planet Asia Expeditions and its guides are not liable for personal injury, illness, or damage to photography/birding equipment during the tour. Clients participate in wildlife activities at their own risk.
8. Jurisdiction These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ernakulam, Kerala.
